Connecting Xfinity to our products
Building a scalable, accessible design system that unified twelve products under one calm, trustworthy voice.
Meridian's product suite had grown to twelve apps, each with its own components, colors, and inconsistencies. We created a single design system — code and design in lockstep — to bring order and trust back to the experience.
Starting from principles
Rather than beginning with buttons, we began with beliefs. Money is stressful; the interface should never add to that. Every token, every motion curve was tuned to feel calm and deliberate.
Tokens as the source of truth
We built a three-tier token architecture — primitive, semantic, and component — so a single change could ripple safely across every product and both light and dark themes.
Accessibility as a default
Contrast, focus states, and reduced-motion support were built into the foundation — not bolted on. The system ships AAA-compliant color pairings out of the box.
The system didn't just make us faster. It made us trustworthy.
Outcome
Teams now ship features in days instead of weeks, and the fragmented experiences finally feel like one product family.
